Frank Thomas is now an Athletic. I am a Cubs fan, but thank God that guy is out of Chicago. Do no tget me wrong, he had great seasons as a member of the White Sox, but in the last few years he has been less than worthless. He may have hit decently when he was in last year, but he has not been able to stay healthy for 6 monthes over the last 3 years. Sure, I have not bothered to look up the facts, but I read that the A's were planning to up their offense with this pickup, but I am shocked that they did not see why the White Sox did not resign him.
